inema on the Carrs has been a much-loved highlight of Wilmslow’s events calendar since 2015.

Organised and funded by Wilmslow Town Council, this popular summer event is free to attend and offers a fantastic opportunity for friends, families, and neighbours to come together. With picnic blankets in hand, attendees can relax and enjoy popular films with food and drinks, in the beautiful setting of The Carrs Park.

This year’s event will also welcome back the ever-popular Duck Race, hosted by Girlguiding Handforth and Wilmslow.

A wide range of food and drink stalls (including D’Vine Dumplings!) will be available within the arena, and 1st Wilmslow Scouts will be running a tuck shop to keep everyone refreshed throughout the day.

The timings for the day will be as follows:

12pm: Arena & Food and drink court open. Entertainment commences. Duck race entries available to purchase.

2pm: Afternoon film – Paddington in Peru

4.15pm: Duck Race

7.00pm: Evening Film – Wicked

9.30pm: Event ends
